Cure for a Cold/Flu during pregnancy?
i'm 19 weeks pregnant, and have this awful awful cold/flu, I'm not entirely sure which it is. For the past 3 days I've had a runny nose, sore achy muscles, upset stomache, & very sore throat. I cough all the time & sneeze, I get dizzy (i'm guessing because I'm borering dehydration?). I go to the doctor tomorrow for an ultrasound, but I want something to take tonight, to feel well enough to drive to the doctor...
Thanks!
Apparently I am sucking it up, since I haven't just taken any kind of drugs that I feel like taking, I'm trying to find out whats safe first.

When I had the Flu the ER DR on duty called my DR. I was told to take Tylenol Extra Strength, drink lots of water and because my BP was through the roof I was on bed rest for 3 days.

Not sure if it's made for the cold/flu bug, but I know when I was pregnant with my twin girls I got this killer sinus infection. I called my OB/GYN and he told me that it was safe to take Sudafed ( just the regular stuff). Hopefully that helps-Good Luck
