head cold or flu?
my one year old has a cold (stuffy,cough,sneezing)

he also has a tooth coming in

so far this morning iv changed two lose diapers and its a yellow color (tmi sorry)

is the lose diapers teething related or the flu

i have not noticed a fever yet just him being warm the thermonter i have never takes it right (ear) so im buying a head one today he does not sit still for rectal

I would imagine that it is a combination of the teeth & the cold (& they could be connected no matter what drs. say - i've seen it in my own daughter). If it were the flu he would have the cold shivers & fever.

Honestly it could all be related to the tooth coming in. My daughter would always get flu like syptoms and unfortunatley diorrhea every time a tooth would begin to show. As soon as it breaks all the syptoms tend to go. Give your son plenty to chew on to let his tooth break through. Every now and again during teething my daughter would get a slight fever but water and some baby panadol are the best things to get them right. I'm not too sure where in the world you are but in Australia at the chemist you can get icy poles that are full of electrolytes. If you can get some that'll help with your sons diorrhea as it'll replace all the nutrients he's losing because of it and the icy pole will numb his teeth. They helped so much with my daughter as she was the same during teething. Hope I helped.
