Help is it normal cough & cold or swine flu?
Day before yesterday i was outdoor and could not resist the day heat and returned home and took a glass of cold water and also washed my face and head with that cold water.
Latter that night i had severe cold with running nose & i took one anti-alergic medicine and slept breathing from mouth.
Next morning means yesterday i woke up with fever(102¤F) and body ache with hunger but no cold no headache and no stomach pain. Then i took a medicine (paracetamol+nemoslide) which brought the fever down with no body ache and no headache but mild cold (running nose+ mild soar throat) but slight weakness.
Is it swine flu or normal cough and cold.
Plz help me. Thanks

Could be a common cold, or the flu (swine or another strain).
The symptoms your describing are associated with hundreds of different ailments, from the common cold to any number of gastrointestinal bugs!

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states swine flu symptoms can include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue, and sometimes diarrhea and vomiting.

The only way to know for sure what you have is to go to your doctor and have him swab your nose and test the swab. Your primary care doc should have a kit right in the office which can tell you in about 15 minutes if you have the "flu" or not. This type of test will only tell you if you have Influenza A or not, but will not tell you the actual strain you have (like H1N1 - the "swine flu").

If you do have the flu - swine or otherwise - you should take an antiviral medication within the first two days of symptoms for best results.

Hope this helps!

you didn't vomit so i think you're safe
but better go to doctor just in case

It is very hard to tell that which kind of flu you have got but i don't think you got H1N1(Swine flu). Better see a doctor to be safe.
