How do we catch cold or flu when we are exposed to hot and then to cold?
I mean, sometimes when you go out, and the temperature it's around 35 degrees, you sure begin sweating by the hot.
And then you seek for a shopping mall to get some air-conditioning, refreshing! But after that, maybe you start feeling bad, so...congratulations, you caught cold/ flu.

But how does it start? Normally we catch cold and flu by virus right? Then how do we catch cold or flu because of the temperature?

Its an old wives tale, that isn't how you catch a cold or the flu, but it isn't good to to put yourself exp. outside in cold with wet hair, it cools your body temp faster and your body can get hypothermia if exposed to long. Anyway we catch things through viruses, I think I have heard that when you do as mentioned that it can lower the ammune system and maybe this is why it seems we catch things more often in those types of conditions.

We don't -- it's a common misconception. Changes in temperature do not result in you getting the cold or flu.

Changes in temperature (particularly when you're cold and chilled) can result in a slightly lower immune system -- which means if you've been exposed to the virus that causes the cold or flu you'd be more likely to develop symptoms . . .

but for just going outside in the hot weather, and then going inside in the cool air-conditioning . . . it doesn't give you the cold.

If this were true, everyone who got overheated then jumped in to a cold river or swimming pool would be sick.
