How does the flu shot protect you from the flu?
If you get the flu shot, what is the chance that you will have the flu?

They Have The flu in the shot, just weakened, with some water and sugar, your immune system then knows it, and kills it. Making you slightly more immune to it.

By injecting you with a weakened form of the virus your body can develop antibodies to fight it. The injected virus dies off but now if you come in contact with the virus, you will be protected by your body's immune system. That is of course, if you come in contact with a strain that was part of the injection

the flu shot cause antibodies to develop in the body. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in the vaccine. It makes your immune system stronger. I have never got one and gotten the flu once.

they see what strand of the flu is prominent for that year or what people are getting sick with most that year and they like weaken it or something so your antibodies have an easy time fighting it and inject you with the weakened flu virus! normall when your antibodies fight a kind of flu then you are some what immune to getting that strand again
