Is it ok to take codral cold and flu if im on antidepressants?
I'm currently on mirtazapine. On the codral packet it says to ask your doctor about this medication if you are on antidepressants. Just wondering if anyone knows the dangers or side effects of taking these two together... I just want to get rid of my damn cold.

I don't know what mirtzapine is, but I do know that most Nyquil and such says to speak to a doctor is you are taking MAOI type anti-depressants (or something to that effect). If you are taking SSRI, like Paxil, Prozac, Wellbutrin, etc., then it is fine. But I am a psych major and never heard of your kind, you better ask a professional.

Don't do it! No good mixing anti-depressants with cold medicines. Both cause drowsiness. You need to space them way apart. Get suggestions from your physician or pharmacist . You don't want to go to sleep permanently! See the link below.
