Is it possible to have a cold without a fever?
My 2 year old had a runny nose for a few days, and a little cough today, but no fever or complaint at all. Is it a fever-less cold or allergy symptoms?

It is possible because most of the time people don't run fevers with colds.

It is possible to have fever-less colds. I think it is more likely that it is a cold, by the symptoms you are describing, because allergies tend to have a lot of sneezing involved. You could ask your doctor, or you could give him or her OTC children's antihistamines, like Benydryl or Zyrtec. You may have to see your doctor anyway for recommended doses, but I'm unsure whether or not it has that information on the label. Good Luck!

Yes it is. I have had many colds and most of them I have never had a fever with.
