Is it safe to take Vicks Nyquil cold and flu?
I have had a pretty bad head cold for the last couple of days and I was using Tylenol Cold at night to help me get some sleep but I have ran out of that and the only thing I have left is Vicks Nyquil Cold and Flu. Has anyone taken this during pregnancy or have your doctors told you it was ok to take? I'm 23 weeks pregnant.

I don't think you can, no. Call up your local 24 hour pharmacy, like Walgreen's and ask to talk to the pharmacist.

No do not take that. It is not approved while you are pregnant. I know because I used Nyquil frequently before I became pregnant. Trust me I know how it feels to be congested or have a head cold. Sudafed or Actifed tablets is what my doctor recommends to treat the symptoms from head colds or allergies. I just recently received a prescription for azithromycin or zithromax for sinusitis I suffer from bad sinuses and needed relief. Talk to your Ob first. Take care and be safe.

No No No.
I had the flu at 20 weeks. All I was allowed to take was tylenol (regular or extra strength- NOT the cold and flu versions), extra Vitamin C and Zinc and yeah... that was about it. Oh... and I could take bendryl.
Lots of sleep, lots of liquids. Use steam to open nasal passages, gargle salt water for sore throats, drink hot tea.
It might take longer, but eventually you will get well.
