Kerry Katlic, Chair of Child Health Subcommittee at Rochester General Hospital advises on seasonal flu. Season flu symptoms include: rapid onset of fatigue, fever, vomiting and diarrhea. H1N1 symptoms are more minor than the traditional flu. To treat, please stay at home, take plenty of fluids and acetaminophen, and get some rest. Those with allergies, asthma, diabetes or other underlying medical conditions, or young children, may want to consult their doctor. Seasonal flu vaccines are available at the Rochester General Hospital or at your local pharmacy. For our immunization clinic hours, please call your local Rochester General Medical Group clinic.
