What do I have...head cold, flu, or something else?
The main thing is my sore throat, it feels swollen almost. it was near my tonsils yesterday, and now it's just my whole throat. My body ached pretty bad. Mostly my middle back and sides. My nose is running to, but not really bad. I'm sneezing, but not coughing. I had a heachade when i woke up this morning, but took some dayquil so i don't feel it anymore. but I am very tired. I couldn't sleep well last night, I kept waking up. Also, I'm at work right now, and it usually is super cold in work, but I'm not cold at all this morning, so I could be running a fever, I'm going to check when I get off work.
My eyes hurt
I have a bit of an earach in my right ear.
my neck hurts pretty bad, prob. because of my throat.
My back feels really stiff, and it popped really really loud this morning when i stretched after getting up.
ok thanx for your help everyone. my temple doesn't hurt, but i do have a lot of drainage...i'll just sleep for the rest of the day when i get home, uhhh 5 more hours :(

could be toncilitis and with a cold you dont usually ache but with the flu you do.Also glandular fever can have those symtoms or just plain old swollen glands.

You MAY have sinus congestions.
I have alot of sinus congestions before. Sinuses are cavaties behind your nose, temper and cheeks, if i'm not wrong. These sinuses can get congested by your mucous. Sinus congestion could be cause by an infection of the sinus lining by an allergent or bacteria. See if you have what i always have when i have sinus congestions:
Keeps on sneezing due to itchy nose
Nose produces alot of mucous
Feels that your eyes are popping out
Headache
Feels that your eyes wants to close up
The area (temple?) between your eyes feels painful
Itchy throat
Itchy ear
If you're having a fever, you will have felt chills and it would be even colder in work.
Try searching in the net more about sinus congestions. If the symptoms fits, try these
use nasal spray
get more sleep (usually sleep will help)
go to a steam room
get medication (not as useful)
traditional remedy (haven't try before): allow salt water to flow into your nose to wash it.
Hope this helps
