Why do I have a cold a couple of months after getting the flu shot?
In september I got the flu shot and now in december I have a little cold with a slight fever. What could this mean? Should I be worried? Or is it nothing to worry about since I only have a cold?

The flu is not the same thing as a cold, and one has nothing to do with the other. Your flu shot protects you from the most prevalent types of flu virus present this season. That's something entirely different than being exposed to one of the hundreds of variations of the common cold. A cold is just a cold, miserable, but nothing to get all excited about. You treat the symptoms as you need to. When the temperature gets to 102, it's time for Motrin or Tylenol. Until then, fever is actually a good body defense to make matters miserable for the virus itself. Your body functions quite well in the higher temperatures, the virus does not. Treat the other things, like the stuffy/runny nose with over the counter medications if you like. Rest, eat right, and drink a lot of liquids. That shifts it along sooner. It's just a cold dear, nothing life threatening, and nothing to do with the flu shot.
