Can eating a lot of chicken noodle soup be bad for you?
Silly question, but I'm trying to fight this flu/cold that I have and I bought some chicken noodle soup from a restaurant yesterday and ate it. I was thinking of ordering another for dinner tonight. I would guestimate that it's about 32oz+.
I would think that chicken soup has a lot of sodium in it that's why I ask the question. I prefer not to buy that canned version of the soup, nor am I feeling up to par to start cooking in the kitchen.
I have been perspiring and having cold sweats. Thanks for everyones input

Will probably only make you go to the bathroom a lot :|
Hope you get better soon!

Being from a restaurant is no guarantee it's not loaded with salt & MSG.

it is very salty, remember that.

Unless you eat or drink nothing else over a long period of time, I can't see how it could hurt you. If you are running a temp and sweating a lot the extra salt probably does more good then harm.

I think if you made a habit of it the sodium may be bad for you, but for 2-3 days while sick having a large soup for dinner is perfectly fine
