virus vs flu
by Eneas

For those of you who DID get your child the swine flu vaccine?
Please tell me the age of your child. How long ago they got the vaccine. What type was it -a live virus vs dead virus injection/mist

Did you child develop any reactions to it. What were they and how long did they last.

Are you glad you got the vaccination.

I am asking this because my 17 mo old son *2 mos premature* is scheduled to get it monday and he is having surgery for tubes in his ears on Friday.

My son is 11 months, and we got him the shot a couple weeks ago. It was a dead virus, he had no reactions besides a sore leg. It was just sore for the rest of the day, so we gave him a dose Tylenol.

No I would not do it I have a 9 mo grandso0n and we are not doing it!! The reasoning for tubes is he keeps getting with so many vaccines and antiboitics. I would not do it!!! As far as the tubes go I would give him alj from Natures Sunshine and Probiotics. They are by natures sunshine and he will get healed and not be masked by the meds they are giving him. So no I will not give him the junk . I was at the Dr. yesterday. Thinkl about this. by the time that your child reaches 18 how many shots that they get./ If they get the shots reg. flu its 18 then swine flu and then the 1 at birth and the 2 minths there are 5 and 4 months 4 more and keep going and they keep adding. Why do you think that there is so much cancer and so much atisim. This is very sad!!

I understand your worry. All of this negative hype going around. I have three kids that have received the vaccine a week and a half ago. My littlest is 17 months also. She got the shot, no reactions. My 6 & 7 yr old got the nasal. No reactions. I got the shot. I did feel a bit of tummy trouble that night. Don't know if it's related or not. I did a lot of research on the vaccine before I took them in. I felt I was making the best decision, but you must decide for yourself. Just like my Pediatrician told me; She hasn't seen anything worse with this flu vs. the seasonal one, it's just that all flu's can be very dangerous every year. People need to take it seriously. I'm just waiting now so they can get their second dose. I wish you well with your little one! Take care...
