sickness vs. heartbeat?
is it just me, or does your heart beat faster when u have a cold or other virus?

also, what is better way to soothe a soar throat, drinking lots of water and hot tea or gargaling salt water?

Try drinking hot tea with honey. It coats your throat and doesn't hurt so bad when you swallow. Even try the chloroseptic spray, it will numb and cool your throat. Hope all is well.

I only notice my heart beat racing when I take those damn medicine pills from a drugstore, which I won't do ever again. It's got something in there that's a decongestant, and it raises your blood pressure.
Better to stick to natural stuff, like taking things from the health store that naturally raises your immune system. (Probiotics, echinecea, etc)

both answers above are correct. Decongestants do contain ingredients that can raise your blood pressure and make your heart beat much more noticable.

I agree with the tea and honey.
