Can swine flu cause mucus to leak into ear?
Having symptoms of swine flu with some irritation in the ear. It does feel like a fluid is moving about in my ear (like when water goes into the ear). I know swine flu virus can't infect anything near the ear but can it be that there has been a mucus overflow that leaked into my ear?

I'm not sure sure but if you have a fever or a high temperature (over 38°C / 100.4°F) and two or more of the following symptoms:
unusual tiredness
headache
runny nose
sore throat
shortness of breath or cough
loss of appetite
aching muscles
diarrhoea or vomiting
Then probably if not then not likely but stay at home just in case and contact your GP.
