Cold, Flu, or something else?
Thursday night I started to have a bit of a scratchy throat. I also sneezed a little and had a bit of a runny nose, but it felt like mild allergies so I didn't pay much attention to it. Friday I woke up and still had the scratchy throat and felt a little bit off, but no big deal. By Friday afternoon I was running a temp that started at 99.9 and went up to 100.8. My body started aching more severely that I have ever experienced. My legs hurt so bad that I could barely walk and I was in so much pain that I could only sleep for 1/2 hour at a time. Today I woke up to my temp being much lower- around 99.6, the muscle pains are gone (except for maybe mild soreness) and now I have a cough with what feels like a ton of flem in my throat and a bit of a runny nose. Do you think I have the flu or just a cold?

Well seeing as you had a temperature and body aches it seems as if it was more of a flu than a cold. On the upside though, when you develop a phlegmy cough, it generally means the flu has come too it's final stage, and also the fact that your temperature has dropped shows that too. Make sure you get plenty of rest though, don't throw yourself into things too quick.
But again, to answer your question, you had a mild case of flu.

"Cold, Flu, or something else? Do you think I have the flu or just a cold?" -- Your symptoms suggest either flu or some other viral infection but not a cold.
