You have to take a H.I.V. test to be diagnosed. It doesnt show up if they are not testing for it.Ease your mind and go get tested.

About a week or two weeks after contracting the virus there are a lot of people who will come down with a flu-like feeling. For some the virus will progress, for others nothing happens for years and year (and for the very lucky...nothing ever happens). There is HIV in a urine sample...even ear wax, mucous, etc. but never enough to infect another person. However, HIV is never checked in this way. A blood test or an oral swab is the only way for sure to know. The test results take about 2 weeks to come back.

Only about 4-6 weeks after last UNPROTECTED encounter.
The only LIKELY scenarios (and yes, I know there are such things as freak infections like condom failure and oral sores while engaging in kissing or fellatio) for getting HIV are these.
Unprotected anal or vaginal sex.
Intravenous drug use.
Nursing on an HIV infected woman.
Other than that, you really have no chance of getting HIV, so quit your worrying.
And if you do have vaginal sex, your odds of getting HIV through one instance of vaginal sex are 1 in 2,000, assuming she's infected.
Assuming you are heterosexual, you have 4 times the of a chance of catching a foul ball at a baseball game, or twice the chance of winning your state's pick 3 lottery than getting HIV through having sex with an infected woman. However, it's always good to protect yourself because 1 in 2000 odds can happen within a lifetime. And it's always good to get tested because these days, you can live for a very long time after infection (25-30 years), provided that you're seen by a doctor in time.
The odds of contracting HIV through a condom, assuming your partner is infected, is about 1 in 50,000-500,000, odds you will probably not ever see in your lifetime.
However, adding up the infected population and the uninfected population, you have about a 1 in 50,000,000 chance of contracting HIV from a random person provided you wear protection. Those are odds that aren't seen by HUNDREDS of people throughout their lifetime.

First off the only way to know if you have HIV is to get tested. You can go to your local AIDS service organization that will probably test for free. Here is a link to a website for a local organization that would test you http://www.hivtest.org/. As to whether HIV would show up on a urine test the answer is NO. Urine does not carry the HIV virus or the antibodies for the virus. Also one of the previous posters answered correctly by saying that the lab needs to KNOW what to look for. So if you are worried that you may have come in contact with the HIV virus get tested. The general rule of thumb for HIV testing is that it take 3-6 months for the virus to manifest itself in a persons system. So if you contact was 3 years ago if HIV is there it will show up.
BTW the 'flu like' symptoms that most website talk about show up approximately 2-3 weeks after coming in contact with the virus and are usually in conjunction with a rash on your torso.
Hope this helps~
