Health, places and things you attract the cold and flu virus?
My mom can catch a cold or get the flu , just by setting in her appartment day in and day out reading newspapers and reading letters and sales papers can she be getting the same germs from those papers from the last time she was sick.,She doesn't throw nothing away.

germs; cold,flu,bacteria do not live that long. i heard something once about newsprint being germicidal. im serious and interested in why thats true. supposed to have something to do with the ink. many people used to wrap their garbage in newspaper. she is being exposed to viruses carried by touching surfaces freshly touched by another person who has it. good hand washing and a bottle of hand sanitizer would help. does she babysit or come into contact with children? they're a good source for contact too, bringing all their little playmates bugs home from school. maybe you should just get her out of the house more. fresh air and lack of boredom may not keep her from catching a cold from time to time, but i'll bet it wouldn't hurt.
