I have the cold that is going around?

I have the cold that is going around?
I've been taking Vick's Cold/Flu which ALWAYS works for me, but this time it's not doing ANYTHING. I dont want to date the nighttime one b/c it will knock me out and I have a child. I've tried peppermint tea also. Any other suggestions?

hot lemonade with lemon 2 paracetamol and spoonful of honey for cough good cure inhale ob as oil for blocked nose and none of this costs alot of money hope you feel better soon

-Dilute one lemon in a glass of warm water, and add a teaspoon of honey. Drink once or twice daily.
-Try steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus oil or vicks to clear a stuff nose.
-Drink hot liquid such as herbal teas and clear soups.
-Get extra rest.

this will knock it!

a few drops of Hydrogen peroxide in each ear until bubbles stop....it knocks anything I swear!

i found that the old remedies work the best. if whiskey, honey and lemon juice isn't an option, try putting a generous amount of vicks vapor rub on your feet, put on socks and go to bed. best thing you can do....GET SOME SLEEP. your body needs to heal. i had 'the' cold, and took an entire weekend off, slept and ate chicken soup. i felt much better the following monday.
