Is feeling cold a symptom of a concussion?
I've had a concussion for over a month already (yes I have been to the doctor twice already) and I have an appointment with the neurologist next week. Lately I've been getting new symptoms. Today I felt cold for most of the day. The weather was in the 70's though. Could this be a symptom of concussion or bleeding in the skull/brain? Or is it just a coincidence that I was cold?
I took my temperature a few minutes ago and it was 97.4 degrees Farenheit. That's still within normal range right?

Well chills are a strong sign of shock. Shock can be brought on by sever brain damage, internal bleeding, or just plain trama. I would say go to the ER, chills are never ever good, and with your condition Im shocked they have even let you return home! I would go, and immediatly. I am not really a doctor, but my brother had a concussion 2 months ago. During that period I did some research about concussion, and I remember that I never read anything that highlighted feeling cold as a symptom of concussion. Please read the source I added, and hopefully it will help. However, under any circumstances, you'd better consult your doctor ASAP.

Shivers may be possible. If you have vomiting, please see a doctor right away. Head injuries are never a small thing, additional precautions and doctor's advice is essential in ensuring early treatment and prevention of worse consequences. Hope this finds you in good health.
