But he didnt even show signs of having a cold! is he gonna be ok now?

a lot of vets will diagnose epilepsy as a common cold because they do not know the severity of the disease. my dog was diagnosed with a cold and it turned out that she was having epileptic fits. if this occurs again then i would take him to another doctor and have him diagnosed correctly.. also if this occurs the best thing you could do is mix water with a small amount of sugar and give that to him orally. or your could give him gatorade.. this is to replenish the electrolyte supply that keeps your dog alive..
