Nyquil cold and flu made me have ?
Overdose symptoms, and i only took two (the liquid gel kind).I had every symptom, nausea , low fever , vomitting, dizziness, everything. I used to overdose alot (it's been a year since i've done it) so i know what it's like , but i don't know why it happened with the nyquil. That's all i took that night and the effects lasted until today (3 days) Does anybody have any idea why?

first of all it is great that you stopped O/ding
Have you had blood work lately testing your kidneys and Liver
even if you took small O/D's over time they can cause damage.
you need to know if both of them are healthy.
as some med's are hard on them.
if your Kidneys and liver are healthy
and If you only took two teaspoons you did not O/D
You were sick that would account for the Low fever body aches and headaches..
if you have the flu that could account for the nausea and vomiting.
if you look on the bottle or carton.
you will find that it can cause nausea /vomiting/dizziness/sleepiness.
even if you took the day time kind.
any medicine can cause these symptoms
they just do not cause them in most people
There is another thing to consider.
if you no longer take med's on a reg bases
with the history of taking O/D's your body might reject med's to protect it's self
I have seen it with some one who took lots of O/D's their bodies would not allow them to take med's
it took years for them to get back to normal
