Things that can help when having a cold/flu?
Well today my nose transformed into a waterfall and I started sneezing, I feel like I'm getting a cold/flu or whatever. So is there anything which could help me speed up my recovery ?
Things which I did so far: rest, eat, take some med, drink some tea, rest

I know... I should drink more water but I'm not used to it. Also, will it help if I eat a lemon? I really like eating lemons , I love it, but if it wont help me I wont eat it today. Oh and thing is... tomorrow I got 2 tests and I can't miss them, so any advice for waterfall nose and sneezes?
Also will a hot shower help?

Lots of fluids, orange juice is great because of the vitamin C in it. Get lots of general rest, a hot bath and an early night. I'm currently suffering too and trying to get better for tomorrow as i hate taking time off work. Also chicken soup helps, i had some earlier and did feel a little better!

1.Try having spicy food..its a good expectorant....
2.Inhale vapours from water boiled with eucalyptus oil..or else keep sniffing eucalyptus oil (can apply around nasal area)..
3.You could also dice garlic, sprinkle it in a cup of hot water and breathe in the steam..do this often..
4.Reduce intake of dairy products, processed and refined food and also salt and sugar..

Go the the drug store and purchase Mucinex DM. Do it now and take the medication as directed. Tomorrow for your tests, you will feel better. Continue taking the DM until the waterfall has stopped.

This will increase the liquidity in the production of mucus in your membranes. Both nasal and lungs. BUT, it will allow you cough and to blow your nose to remove it. You will not have the continuous little "trickle".

Also steam. Take a hot show and inhale the steam.
