I'm 17 weeks and just inherited the same cold from my son:(
The old, plain sudafed, BEHIND the pharmacy counter, is safe to take. I was specifically told to get the older medication by my ob. Not only does it work better, but has been tested for decades and is deemed safe to take. This is my fifth child. Another ob told me the same thing.

Honestly, the list I was given by my doctor for safe medications doesn't list anything other than robitussin and chloraseptic lozenges. Call up the office and ask them if the tylenol cold and flu for infants alright. They will give you a straight answer, you don't want to assume it's fine if someone on here says it is unless they are a doctor or nurse, but still call up and ask.

For a sore throat you can take cough drops or use chloraseptic spray for a sore throat, for nasal congestion I was told saline and do a nasal rinse, I also believe you can use those nasal "breathe right" strips, but may want to double check. I am not sure about infant tylenol, it wasn't on my list of things to take while sick, only tylenol listed was plain tylenol and to use that for pain and fever relief. You could ask your dr though. Good luck and feel better
I just want to add, but I am pretty sure they took all infant cold meds off the shelf, and now have childrens cold and flu, but can't give it to a child under 4 or 6 due to the ingredients so I am not sure if you will be allowed that, the infant tylenol is just basic tylenol and has nothing for cold relief in it. Again, check with your doc.
