Cover your throat, neck, drink hot milk with some honey in it and alcohol is good too cause it erases the possible germs and don't wash your hair and then open a window near you, also don't be barefoot

Usally taking horse raddish and garlic vitamin pills works a treat! If you do get sick though you can take them every hour if you like with no harm done! Also herbs from a herbalist will boost your immunity and help you to keep healthy, as well as get rid of any colds you may get.

I take 3 grams of vitamin C daily and am rarely if ever sick. At the 1st sign of a cold I start taking my Cold-Eeze zinc lozenges every 2-3 hours and it cures me. If it appears I am still having a problem I take Lomatium dissectum as directed on the bottle or Olive Leaf extract which are reputed to kill viruses.
If the Flu is going around, and I have been exposed, I keep a bottle of Sambucol syrup handy and take it at the first sign of getting sick. Echinacea, garlic, golden seal, and Astragalus are also in my cupboard. Elderberry capsules or a glass of Elderbery wine are good for Flu also.

take in a steel bowl some garlic flakes and mustard oil and heat it till warm.and then before going 2 bed rub it on ur chest,feet.u may feel relax the next morning.

Wash your hands, and do NOT shake hands and then touch your face, food, utensils, etc. Change your tooth brush on a regular basis and soak it in some Listerine or other antiseptic. Don't drink/eat after anyone else, and watch whom you kiss.
Eat a balanced diet and take a multivitamin daily. While it is true that certain vitamins (vitamin C) help stimulate the immune response, don't mega-dose them. Also, according to a study in "The New England Journal of Medicine", the extracts of herb Echinacea "do not have clinically significant effects on infection". Once you're infected, rest, fluids, and expelling excess mucus are your best remedies.
Exercise on a regular basis is great at keeping you healthy because it will raise your blood temperature 2-5 degrees during the exercise. This will kill many harmful pathogens in your body, just like a fever will, except after exercise and some water, your blood temp will return to normal.
Basic personal hygiene and good eating/exercise habits will go a long way. It's the old "ounce of prevention" advice.
