Allergy, Flu, or Common Cold?
I've been doing alot of coughing lately. I don't have stuffed up nose, runny nose, nor do I have sore throats, sneezing, etc. all i have is constant coughing, I don't know what it could be, when I eat I'm fine, when I suck on a cough drop I'm fine, but whenever I'm just sitting or standing still I cough and cough then it stops for a while, then cough, cough cough. what could it be? Allergies? Cold? maybe the flu that's going around lately?

If you're coughing up phlegm or something it might be a chest cold.

I highly doubt it's allergies.

It could be allergies. My brother in law's allergies manifest as coughing.

But then it might be asthma. Do you have any wheezing? Out of breath doing normal things?

I think unless you can rule out asthma, you need to see your dr.

You may have hidden allergies that haven't been addressed.
If you had a cold or the flu, you'd have chills, a slight fever, feel like crap, and have low energy.
A good idea is to check for allergies via skin test; you may be
allergic to:
Wheat, corn, rice, soy, yeast,
fruit, veggies (from either the sucrose and fructose in them or the pesticide and insecticide on them),
nuts, seeds,
Aspartame, saccharin (artificial sweeteners),MSG (Mono Sodium Glutamate- a flavor enhancer),
pollen, dust, fragrances, scents (scented candles, air fresheners, which really don't "freshen" the air, it just covers up the stink), and Hair spray.
Asthma isn't a disease or disorder- it's a wheat allergy.
The steroid nasal sprays just cover your allergies, and cures nothing. Same as the NSAIDs.
Google "Allergies","NSAID", "MSG","aspartame", and www.doctortalk.com (spam-free website for a Dr. Howard Hagglund, a naturapath that can remove your allergies.)
