Am I still contagious with the flu/cold?
I first received a sore throat on Thursday, got worse on Friday then the sinuses started to clog up Friday night, Saturday morning the cough started producing a green mucus, by the evening on Saturday i had a fever and chills. On Saturday night i just simply could not get warm, the temp was about 19°C (92°F) so not very cold but i could not stop shivering and mean shivering, i couldn't believe just violently i was shaking, it was ridiculous.
Sunday i was feeling a lot better, i still had the cough but and it was producing more of a yellow/tan color mucus instead of the green and my sinuses weren't as bad either, by Sunday night my fever and chills had gone and i could breath through my nose again. Throughout Sunday night i had a very good sleep, didn't wake up once. Now today, Monday, my nose is only running a little and my cough isn't as bad but still there though.
I have been purposely staying away from my kids and being extremely obsessive about my cleanliness in an attempt to not pass it on but my partner is having troubles and i won't to hold them again so my question is ....... Am i still contagious ?? if i were to pick them and touch them, is there still a risk of them getting it or has the contagious period passed now ??

If it has been at least 24 hours without a fever (Without using a fever reducer) then you should be ok. So by tonight you are probably not very contagious anymore. I would still be a little careful though, like washing hands after blowing nose or coughing and stuff. I'm glad that you feel better now :).

Most viruses are contagious Prior to any symptoms and then early on. You are probably not contagious, but still use good handwashing try to avoid coughing or sneezing on them and any other pbvious things that might epose them to airborn viruses".
