Any idea what I have?
Yesterday morning I had a little bit of a headache. Nothing major, I went to school anyway. Throughout the day it kept getting worse and worse, and I also got a little bit of a fever and my body felt really cold (I kept getting the shivers). To make matters worse, we had a track meet that day, and since I'm the second best runner on the team, my coach wasn't having me miss out on it. When I got home I took a hot shower then went to bed immediately. I was having trouble getting to sleep, and around 2 in the morning I threw up a little bit.
I thought maybe I had the flu, but it seems like I would have thrown up more than just that one time. I've been able to eat a little since then, and kept everything down. I feel a lot better now (about 33 hours after my initial headache).
So do you have any idea what could be wrong with me? Is it possible the puking was just a result of overworking myself at the track meet after already having a fever and headache?

Lots of these strange little bugs going around and they sometimes affect different people different ways. What you describe sounds quite likely. Rest up, take some chicken soup and garlic to help purge and keep your strength up. A little red pepper in a glass of water can clean out your head from time to time.
That's what I do when I get feeling like that. Usually pulls out in a few days or sooner if I start quick enough.
