Are these normal flu symptoms?
I have what appears to be the flu and I just hacked up semi-bloody phlegm. I have a cough, nasal congestion and pretty much my entire body aches. It's a pain to get an appointment at the campus clinic, should I still make one based on my symptoms?

If you go to a doctor it should be better in 7 days.
If you don't go it should be better in a week.

Don't take antibiotics because they are only effective for bacterial infections and flu is viral.

Fever is what kills virus so when you can't stand it anymore go to bed ,pile on the blankets and sweat it out, when your fever breaks it is pretty much over

yes you should as all other symptoms are normal except the semi-bloody phlegm. this might create some sort of problem if you dont visit your doctor.

take care

Those are all normal except the bloody phlegm but it can be see with other disease and depends on the how often it happens, if it is just once in a while it is nothing to worry about but if it happens on a regular basis then it might be something such as bronchitis or pneumonia and you should see a doctor.
