Are two people with the flu/common cold contagious to each other? is ir still infectious?
If two people in the same house are sick with the flu? or say one of them is recovering from the virus while the other is starting to show symptoms, are they still contagious to each other? or is it safe to assume they can recover together and care for each other without the risk of reoccurance.

If they have the same strain of virus, then yes. The problem with cold/flu is that the virus mutates rapidly so Person A could have a different strain from Person B. If the strains are different, then the body sees this as a different virus, and has no prior immunity. This is the reason people get many colds/flus during the season.

There is really no way to tell if the virus mutated just based on symptoms. You would have to get the genetic test of the virus done, and frankly, it's expensive and most places won't do it. They can try to take care of each other, but there is no guarantee of immunity.
