Can you get pneumonia before you get a cold or the flu?
i've had a sore throat, trouble breathing, dizziness, ear ache and itchy ears, and body aches. i have that "sick" feeling. but, it hasn't become a serious cold yet. it actually isn't that bad. but i feel like i have fluid or that my lungs are being held. could i be developing pneumonia before i even get a real cold or get the flu?

Its very rare but it can happen. Usually pneumonia occurs after a cold. And it involves a bad cough,
