Cold / Flu after tetanus vaccine + meningitis vaccine?
I received a tetanus vaccine and a meningitis vaccine (actually i can't remember if it was for meningitis or measles) the day before yesterday.
Yesterday I had a slight sore throat, a lot of coughing, and a sore arm. I also felt a bit tired and unable to focus, but it wasn't that bad...
Well today, my throat still hurts and I have a headache. My arm is slightly sore but it's not that bad (I'm able to type with it). My body feels kind of lousy and my nose is stuffy and runny.
I'm not really hungry. my stomach isn't really upset though.
Is this a common side effect for getting booster shots?
I'm 16 years old. The last time I had a shot was like around 10 years ago.

I had the same effects, it's completely normal - but unpleasant.

your immune system is being attacked by the vaccine
the vaccine has anti bodies in it and your your immune system is fighting it.
kind of like, you have to have the bad to reinforce the good.
trust me,its working.you will feel better tomorrow.
