do i have swine flu or a cold?
i have been coughing for like 6 days now also have a sore throat do to thrush caused by antibotics. no fever at all yet. is this swine flu or a cold. went to dr twice last week and on friday cause i was scared. they ran almost every test except the swine flu test.dr said no fever no flu? is this true? could this be swine or a cold please help

That is def. a cold, because I have been having the same thing, no worries, nothing is wrong with you, just a basic summer cold. Go to the doctor's regularly.

If you've no fever then it isn't flu, swine or seasonal. It sounds just like a cold but if you get a fever or feel worse go back to the doctors.

its probably just a cold.
coughing an sore throat are normal.
and if the doctor said no fever or flu it means that you probably don't have anything wrong with you.

I suppose everyone is different but I know of someone, a friend of my stepmother, who got the swine flu and it isn't something that takes it time letting you know your sick with it. He didn't feel good one day and was about dead the next. It comes on real fast. And from what I gather the fever is a clue, with the onset of this flu you WILL have a fever and a high one at that. If you have been sick for now a week and haven't gotten really sick yet I highly doubt you have swine flu. Too bad about the thrust, that sucks, huh.
