How do I know the difference between swine flu and a cold?
I went the the drs Friday and I had a sore throat and a fever of 100. The dr said it wasn't swine flu b/c I didn't have any respiratory symptoms associated with the swine flu. She did a strep test and that was negative. Now I have a sore throat, headache, fever of 100, body aches, runny nose, coughing and sneezing. Is this a bad case of the common cold or swine.
Also I keep havin diziness. If it's just a cold how do I get rid of it by 2mro.

influenza usually comes very rapidly with shivers etc . Otherwise it's usually a cold.
However, many people have "swine" flu (H1N1) and very mild to moderate symptoms.

You could have either. But since you are doing fairly well, don't worry.
At any rate stay in bed and get well soon.
