I have a cough without cold symptoms?
I can't figure out what the heck this is! I have this awful cough that makes it hard to breath and produces phlegm, but no other cold symptoms. This is the first time in my life, and it doesn't seem to be going away. I am a little tired, but no fevers or anything. It's been nearly a week now. Any ideas of what causes a cough with no other symptoms?

boil the tulsi(holy basil) leaves in water, collect the water only and add black pepper powder (half spoon)... and drink it before sleep.
it may be minor bacterial/viral infection tat irritates the mucosa of upper respiratory tract
