Sore throat + pressure in my left ear + nose bleeds = HELP!!?
It started out on me and my friends' day out which lasted until midnight. I was drinking cherry lemonade and I felt something on my throat afterwards. I didn't think anything of it... When I got home, I got so tired so I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. When I woke up, I suddenly felt worse, I had a fever and sore throat. So I stayed in bed most of the time and drank contact cold + flu caplets every 6 hours. I felt better two days later which is yesterday (I do have a slight dry cough even now). I no longer have a fever, I felt better to actually move around and I only feel my sore throat in the morning when I wake up. The only thing was the nasty headache I have whenever I stand. Yesterday, It was soo hot so I felt a nosebleed coming and rushed to the bathroom. It stopped in about 5 mins after I used pressure. So then I returned to my room and I had another nose bleed within 2 hours. I also felt this air pressure in my left ear that wouldn't go away. (I tried yawning, swallowing) but it's still there until now. And much to my dismay, my nosebleed came back just earlier. It wasn't as bad as the other two though. I took a cool bath to possibly cool off if that was the case. I don't feel any nosebleeds coming any time soon.. But still... I did a little research just now and it said that nosebleeds and headaches may happen due to high blood pressure. I took my blood pressure manually (I happen to be a VN student) and got 110/66. So It's not high blood pressure. Plus, the head ache is gone. It's only the air pressure in my left ear and the nosebleeds I'm worried about. So my question is, how do I get rid of this annoying pressure in my left ear? Swallowing and yawning didn't help... I decided not to blow my nose in order not to get a nosebleed for a while and also to not lay down for a while.
And also.. sore throat + pressure in my left ear + nose bleeds are they somehow related? Please help me... I don't want to go to the doctor yet if it's not serious..

id say you have the flu. go to the doctors and get tested. you don't have to be nauseous to have the flu. check your temperature!!!! if its above normal id say you definitely have the flu. but go to a doctor so they can check.
good luck

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!! Your ears nose and throat are all connected. There are doctors who specialize in this there called ENT's. To me it sounds like a cold/flu with an ear infection. My guess is the nose bleed would be caused by the cold + flu med has some thing like a decongestant (runny nose). You probably dried your nose out. Go get checked out before it starts to really hurt.
