I have a strong cold, have contact with many people at work, should I stay home?
My nose is congested and I just don't feel great, now with the addition of this new swine flu going on, should I stay home until my body is strong again? I work at a supermarket so I come into contact with lots of people and dont have a lot of chance to wash my hands.
yeah it's not swine flu, I just don't want to make my self vulnerable just in case i would come into contact with someone who has the flu

You probably don't have swine flu, but since everyone's so scared about that right now, it's best to stay at home. You don't want customers to see you sniffling and sneezing... they'll get freaked out.

I would definitely stay home, especially if there are any confirmed cases of swine flu in your area.
Let your body heal and rest before going back.

This is the textbook case for staying home from work. Everyone is better off if you stay home and get over the worst of it.
Best of luck.

It's ok to work but wear a mask and take several changes of underpants.

Well from what I know about colds/flu's it would be best if you stayed home until you are able get over it, and also washing your hands would be really good idea as well;especially since you work around food and other people . There's no reason to go around and possibly spreading what you have. I would also suggest carrying some hand sanitizer on you at pretty much all times.
