If you have a cold should you get the flu shot or wait?
I have a cold, should I wait to have the flu shot?
I just started the cold yesterday. It generally takes about three or so days before I go into a flare. I would like to know what people with respiratory diseases think.

As long as you are not on antibiotics or running a fever, you can have the flu shot.

if you have a cold, the doctor will not give you a flu shot (vaccination), you will have to wait till you are ok again....get well soon!!!

I here its best to wait until you are completly heathly. But thats just hearsay on my part. I know when I had to get my son a flu shot he had to be "healthy" acording to his doctor!
