With all the symptoms you have described, it could be either a cold or an allergy. Your nasal congestion is what is causing your sore throat since it runs down the back of your throat from your nose to your chest. Along the way, it also inflames your bronchial tubes causing them to swell which accounts for difficulty breathing. Chances are this is probably a cold and you can get OTC medicine to help your chest breathe easier. Try overnight liquid that will not only help you breathe easier, but help you sleep so your body can get the rest it needs. Be sure to drinks lots of liquids, preferably hot (soup, teas - no caffeine as this will make you more dehydrated), hot water with lemon & honey so you can feel better. Eat even though your appetite may be down as your body needs fuel to get better.
