What foods can you eat and not eat when you have a cold/flu?
I have a cold and i don't know what can make me feel better other than chick noodle soup. I've been eating chicken noodle soup for like 3 days for lunch and dinner and im kinda sick of it. Is there anything else that has the same effect of chicken noodle soup but isn't chicken noodle soup?

You have a cold, princess. Eat anything you want

avoid milk. it contributes to phlegm build up. eat whatever you can stomach. lots of water! dehydration slows down the healing process. spicy foods help, if you can keep them down. don,t eat anything spicy if your bowels are dicey.

You "can eat" anything you'd like. However, I would avoid sugar, refined flour, salty foods and also dairy. What's left, you ask? Homemade soups, LOW SALT, wheat bread, wheat crackers, fruit, veggies, low salt broth, LOTS of water and other bland foods will help. Just make sure to eat!
