hold a tissue to her nose and tell her to blow, give some meds, and use Vicks on the chest and under the nose.

lol:)
Well my little sister has a runny nose at the moment
We have gone and bought vitamans for her;)
Umm the best thing to do is wash her face with warm water and take a tissue with you lol:)
Everybody gets snotty noses lol and if people give you dirty looks if your little girl has a snotty nose then ignore them coz everyone gets them and shes at the age whnere she cant help it;) Dress her up more warmly aswell;)
I wish you and your little girl a lovely cold free winter lol;)

well i would think if she can't blow her nose she's under 2. also, allergies are starting in many places. if that is the case, get some allergy meds. if she hasn't figured out how to blow her nose, use a snot retractor. not much else you can do

You can just let it be. Make sure she drinks a lot, that keeps the mucus flowy. If it gets thick then it can be threatening.

What I would do sometimes is use cu-tips or cotton buds, whichever you call it, to absorb or pull out the mucus from the nose.

But if it gets really bad that she can't breathe then you need to literally suck out the mucus out of her nostrils. This is uncomfortable for you and the child, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Your immune system is a lot stronger than hers so contracting an infection from that is low.

Another alternative is to use a suction tip that you can get at the drugstore. But it can be dangerous because of the pointed tip that you need to insert up the nose.
