What is the incubation period of a flu virus which is going around now?
A girl came to work today long enough to cough her head off, sneeze, lay with her head on the desk and then I told her to go home. She has been sick with a flu like virus.
This was all at about 7 am this morning.
I just got home, it is 10 pm and I am getting a scratchy throat, and starting to feel cold and sick.
Could she have given me whatever she has?

most likely you caught the virus at the same time she did, which could have been incubating for up to a week
