How much times does it take for Paracetamol to work?
I've only take 2 pills of Panadol Cold&Flu (Paracetamol) because of my cold and it has done nothing. My friend told me it needs at least 2 days to work and to feel the difference and the relief. Is that true? How much time will it take?

Thanks
Best regards.
Thank you for your answers so far.

No completely untrue. Of course it will depend on the person (larger people take longer than smaller people for instance). It should take around 30mins to work but it will not cure you or speed up recovery, only make you feel better for a few hours. If you have no luck feeling better with pills then just deal with the symptoms, only a cold after all, your immune system and a good diet of lots of fruit (vitimin C) and hot drinkls will be the quickest cure

when my children were babies, i gave them paracetamol suppositories for fever and pain relief. within an hour, their temperatur went down. now that they are older, they get paracetamol juice, if i can't help them any other way. it still only takes a matter of one-two hours.
i guess it depends on you, your system and your symptoms but it is not a wonder-drug that will make you all better again really quick.depending on your size/weight, you may need something stronger. a baby gets 125 mg, one and up 250 mg. but no more than 4 times in 24 hours. that's what my doctor always told me. get well soon!

45 minutes give or take. If they are going to help they will have by now. Paracetemol only helps aches and pains and maybe fever. It won't cure a cold.
