My husband had his flu vaccine 1 day ago, and now has cold symptoms + low fever. Is it a reaction to shot?

It is just a reaction.

When a vaccine is administered, it either contains a dead virus/bacteria of what it is suppose to protect you from, or a weakened one. Essentially, when you get a shot, the doctors are giving you a low dose of the infection, so your body can become immune to it.
