Can I get high off of robitussin cough and cold syrup?
So I've been really sick so my dad got me the adult robitussin cough & cold syrup and I drank like... 2 shots worth.. cause they supply a little cup with a line and they say no more then 2 teaspoons but I didn't use that and I used 2 of the little cup to the fullest it could go... I felt realllly loopy and I know I took way more then suggested.... and I did it again today but I don't want to end up in the hospital haha Im 15 female.. Idk I want to do this again.. what should be my limit and is it addicting at all? I don't wanna feel better in a week but still be drinking this shit.. but at like a party can I mix it with alcohol to get like more drunk off of a little amount of vodka... I also have nyquil cold and flu nighttime relief pills can I get high off that and should I not take it with the robitussin or should I to get more high...... tank you

the ingredient in the cough syrup that has the most effects on people is dextromethorphan. Dxm for short, it can cause hallucinations, delusions and disassociation. It is a very dangerous drug to ingest in amounts high enough to have the desired effects. The Dxm actually decreases your brain mass EVERY TIME YOU TAKE IT. not to mention that all the other ingredients in the cough syrup will really mess your liver up. i have taken the cough syrup recreationally and i can tell you from experience that if you keep taking it your brain will never be at the capacity it was. so stop now please
