Could I have the flu, common cold, or something else?
please, forgive this long question.
XDDD
I think I've only gotten the "normal" flu once in my life, and that was a long time ago. I've had things such as the common cold(rarely), but those usually come with me 'coughing my head off' and a runny nose. I haven't had a real cold in years though.
I didn't have an appetite this morning, and that happens often when it comes to school mornings. I ate anyway so I wouldn't be hungry later on. My legs hurt as if they were having growing pains. I ignored it and went to school just like it was any normal day.
Out of nowhere, I suddenly got these symptoms at the end of my first period class:
sudden chills, even with a jacket on
nervousness/fatigue
a strange but weak "throb" right in the center of my ribcage
a headache, but more like a dull sensation instead of one of those unbearable aches.
I went to the clinic/attendance lady, and she said I had a slight fever.
So my mom took me home and I went to bed, waking up maybe three hours later. I didn't feel cold anymore,
I had that hardly noticeable ache in the ribcage, a faint headache, was still very warm to the touch. Even though I DON'T have a fever! I was like "...."
Tried two different thermometers, yet still no fever.
Now it's maybe twelve a.m. I'm not tired, and I still feel weird.
Anyway, why would I even experience those things with no fever?
I guess I don't need a fever to feel like I have a fever?
I haven't even had the slightest case of the sniffles
or coughing the entire time that I've felt like this.

There are so many weird things like that that can happen with our bodies. Usually, if you wait a day or two they just go away. I'm hoping that's what will happen with you.
See how you feel in 2 days. If you still feel weird and/or feverish, it's time to see the doctor. You really have to be examined in person.
Best of luck to you! :)
