How long does it take to get sick after you've contracted the cold virus?
I was on an airplane like 2 weeks ago and I'm convinced I got sick from there cause everyone was coughing and sneezing (gross) and I was feeling fine up until yesterday when I started getting cold symptoms and today i'm like sick like you wont believe. Is it possible that I got the cold on the plane 2 weeks ago, or does it not work that way?

The incubation period for the common cold is around 2 to 4 days, but it can be sooner. The swine flu that is going around has an incubation period of about 7 days. So, it seems that if two weeks have passed you probably got the bug elsewhere....
