is it common to lose near 10lbs when you have a cold/flu?
ive had some sort of flu or cold or something like that for 4 days now.

its been pretty bad and i got on the scale today and i've lost 7lbs since i got sick.
i havent had much of an appetite at all, but is this normal?

or has anyone else experienced it?

Cold/flu dehydrates the body at a pretty impressive rate. If you don't hydrate yourself constantly, then you're going to get dehydrated and lose quite a lot of water weight.

That is most likely what is happening in your case.
