Is panadol overdose fatal?
my friend took 11panadol extra pills the first night, 12 the second, 9 panadol cold and flu pills the third day, and 3 panadol extra pills and 3 panadol cold and flu pills the next day. He did it all out of depression, he doesn't feel the cold temperature he walks around with a t-shirt sweting, he isn't eating, he's getting dizzy, he lost consciousness. Is it possible that he will be okay? has he damaged anything? if yes, what kind of damage are we talking about? He refuses to go to a hospital, and his parents don't think anything will happen to him and that there is no need to get medical help

in a word-yes. This can seriously damage the liver and even cause it to fail. If taken all at once he could die straight away but this is overdosing and can lead to all sorts of problems. If this is all he has taken and its not ongoing he may be ok but if its ongoing and hes on them everyday then its very harmful. They are also addictive.
