Pretty much immune to flu/cold?
From age 2-12 I had an asthma attack maybe twice a month, every time winter came the asthma came back. I was basically life-chained to my breathing machine. Pneumonia, Bronchitis, you name it.

At around 12-13 it just simply went away. I'm 19 now and I have gotten a cold maybe once every 8 months, lasts for about 2 days max and never manifests into anything more than an annoyance. Asthma never came back, I don't even feel it anymore while jogging or exercising. Also, I've never once in my life got the flu, nor a flu shot. My whole family gets it at the same time pretty much every year whilst at the same time I'm always around them, never even get a sniffle. (I'm not really the most sanitary person either lol...right now I have 2 plates, a carton of chicken from mcdonalds and 3 bottles of soda, one being at least 4 days old sitting on my desk right now)

Are there certain things or good habits that people have that leads to the above? I know a few people that were like this until 13, and all the sudden poof... only got sick maybe once a year for a max of 3 days.

Trust me - you can't be 'immune' to colds and flu. They mutate - that's why they keep coming back. If people could be permanently immune these diseases wouldn't come back. You've just been lucky. I had a run of about 15 years when I never had a sniffle, but it's just luck.

The only thing that can stop flu or cold is good hygiene. Wash hands after any contact with objects that others touch. Don't shake hands etc.

You either have a high immunity ratio or you are blessed by the gods or both. Be grateful that you've never had the pleasure of being struck by the flu and I mean it when I say "struck". I've caught the flu only once in my entire life in high school and believe me, it was enough. My entire body hurt, I had a pounding headache, I was achy and lethargic. I felt like I was baking inside my own skin one minute and then freezing the next. I literally shuffled my feet from one class to the next and could barely lift my head from my desk. When I finally got home I couldn't even make it to my bedroom. I collapsed on the living room couch and remember very little afterword. I think I might have took some NyQuil or my mother forced it down my throat when she came home from work. My memory is cloudy.

Stay healthy, my friend.
